Submental Fullness Can Be Treated Easily

According to the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, over two-thirds of the adult population in America suffer from submental fullness — usually called a double chin.

The Society goes on to say that the condition is extremely resistant to exercise programs and special diets, and is not restricted to people with obesity problems. It also occurs because of aging, pregnancy, and bad posture.

The Society advises those wishing to have their double chin condition treated should see a Dermatologic Surgeon about getting an injection of Kybella — an FDA approved compound of deoxycholic acid, a naturally-occurring chemical in the body. One injection is usually all that is necessary to repair the condition.
